This FAMU Father Wrote 52 Letters to his Daughters While Going Through his Divorce, and Turned Them Into a Book

Five years ago, Dr. Moore found himself at a low point in his life; his wife of fifteen years unexpectedly filed for a divorce. Afraid he would lose his custody battle, he penned heartfelt letters to his daughters for 52 weeks.

“My daughters were 13 and 9 years of age at the time of the divorce. I wanted them to know who I am as their father, and how much I love them,” said Dr. Edmund H. Moore, author of  With A Father’s Love: 52 Weekly Letters to My Beloved Daughters.

The letters cover a variety of life lessons, including Weekly Letters No. 4 Becoming Financially Savvy, Letter No. 5 Time Management, and No.10 Be a Catalyst for Change.

“Edmund Moore’s down-to-earth nature and sense of humor shine through in these thoughtful notes from a father to his daughters. His labor of love allows parents who share his values to provide wise guidance to our children.”—C. Kelly Robinson, Author of Between Brothers, Dayton, OH.
