  HBCUvc​ is a student-led venture capital fund dedicated to HBCU and HSI students have launched a ​request for startups​ and​ Class 4 Applications​. Learn more below!

Announcing the PledgeLA Fund for HBCU entrepreneurs. The 2020 PledgeLA Cohort, will act as fund managers and deploy $5,000 grants (equity-free) to startups founded by HBCU students and alumni. The full announcement, and application, ​can be found here​ on the announcement we released last week.

To apply for funding, at least one member of the founding team must be a current HBCU student or alum. All industry sectors are welcome, however, the startup must be a technology or technology-enabled company.

Also, The HBCUvc Fellowship applications are open for Class 4 Fellows. ​Apply today​ to learn how to navigate the various roles that investors and entrepreneurs hold. Our fellows are equipped to use the tools of venture capital to invest in their own portfolio, as well as in founders and communities that are traditionally underserved.
