OWN TV star Tambra Cherie, found her passion for radio while in graduate school at Jackson State University. The Jackson, MS native, author and entrepreneur is proof that you will be rewarded for staying true to your passion, and trusting Gods plan for your life. She has now made her way to television screens, as star of the hit reality show Belle Collective, which follows the lives of successful black businesswoman residing in Jackson, MS. We had the opportunity to speak with Tambra and learn more her HBCU experience, business, the new show, and what being a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority means to her.
