Kamala Harris is Running for President

Earlier yesterday afternoon, Kamala Harris has officially started the process to run for President the same day when it was learned that Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race. This is one of the many developments that occurred the past week that is setting this election to be one of the most influential yet.

Kamala Harris is intending to win the primary election and the general election according to her recent Instagram posts within these past 24 hours. If Kamala Harris wins the election this November, she will be the first Black female president, the first female president and the first HBCU graduate president.

Kamala Harris attended Howard University and earned her undergraduate degree in Economics. During her time at Howard, she not only maintained her goal of becoming a politician, she also became an initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Incorporated.

Now nearly the end of her Vice Presidency, she’s ready to take on the polls and many people within the Black community are urging the D9 counterparts to put their full support into Kamala Harris’s nomination and hopeful election that is going to occur in less than 100 days. 

To support her nomination, all current leaders of the National Offices of the Divine 9 Organizations have released a statement of doing a full voter mobilization campaign. Along with this news Kamala Harris also received endorsement from Nancy Pelosi along with a Joe Biden endorsement.
