How a Morehouse College Student Is Blending Cars, Culture, and Entrepreneurship Into Community Impact

At a time when many college students are still exploring their paths, Morehouse College junior, Jibri Wright, is already building a legacy rooted in entrepreneurship, service, and community transformation.

Balancing a full academic schedule while working up to 40 hours per week to finance his education, Wright represents a new generation of HBCU leaders who are not waiting for opportunities but actively creating them.

Built Different: From Hustle to Purpose

Wright’s journey is grounded in discipline and determination. As a second generation college student, his path to Morehouse College was not guaranteed. It was earned through persistence, faith, and strategy.

“I put everything on the line just to get here,” he shared, reflecting on how he pursued scholarships and opportunities with intention.

Now majoring in Business Finance with a minor in Real Estate, Wright is positioning himself for a future in industrial real estate asset management. More importantly, he is using every step of his journey to uplift others along the way.

Turning Passion Into Platforms

Wright is the Founder and CEO of Fastlane Creative Events and Entertainment, a business that blends automotive culture, entertainment, and community engagement. Through Fastlane, he consults with both small businesses and major corporations across Atlanta to develop experiences that drive both engagement and impact.

His work has connected him with brands such as Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead and Andretti Indoor Karting and Games. Still, his approach remains rooted in authenticity and consistency.

“I started in the car scene as an influencer, but I wanted to understand how to actually build and manage communities the right way,” he explained.

Rebuilding Culture on Campus

As President of Morehouse Motors, Wright has transformed the organization into one of the most engaging student groups within the Atlanta University Center.

What began as a small group has evolved into a full campus experience. Under his leadership, the organization now hosts large scale programming that includes automotive workshops, wellness initiatives, structured car meets, and collaborative events that bring together students, creatives, and the surrounding community.

By connecting his business with his leadership role on campus, Wright has created a system where real world resources are consistently brought directly to students.

Service at the Center

While his business accomplishments are notable, Wright’s commitment to service remains the foundation of his work.

As Founder of From My Hands to Yours Food Pantry Inc., he leads ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity across Atlanta. Through partnerships, food distributions, and outreach initiatives, his organization consistently provides resources and meals to families in need.

“Everything that I do is rooted in serving the community,” he shared.

His dedication to service is also reflected in his campus involvement, including his role as Director of Community Service for the Junior Class Council and his participation in multiple outreach initiatives.

The Bigger Vision: Impact at Scale

Wright is currently leading a large scale charitable automotive event at EchoPark Speedway in support of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

With projected costs exceeding 27,000 dollars, the event is designed to generate meaningful funding, with the majority of proceeds going directly toward supporting children and families.

From developing sponsorship decks to pitching major companies, Wright is executing at a level that reflects both vision and preparation.

Entrepreneur of Impact 2026: A Mission, Not Just a Title

Wright is currently competing for Entrepreneur of Impact 2026, a global recognition that highlights entrepreneurs making a difference in their communities.

For him, the opportunity represents more than personal achievement. It is about representation and redefining what impact truly looks like.

“There has never been a Black winner, and I want to change that,” he said.

Winning would allow him to further invest in his initiatives while also setting a new standard for purpose driven entrepreneurship.

Faith, Alignment, and Legacy

At the core of Wright’s journey is alignment between his work, his values, and his faith.

He encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue paths that are deeply connected to who they are, emphasizing that true success comes from purpose driven work.

“Find something that aligns with who you are spiritually, mentally, and emotionally,” he shared.
