Moses Small is the founder of The Scholarship King, a business that helps students earn scholarships and opportunities. He graduated with honors from Emerson College in 2020 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He began this business after helping friends earn thousands of dollars’ worth of scholarships over the past two years. Since starting this business in April, he has helped students win over $10,000 towards school fees in roughly a month.
He has a deep background in journalism and writing, having written and produced a 30-minute television special with Boston’s ABC News affiliate WCVB-TV 5 before earning an internship with the Los Angeles office of Dateline NBC. In his free time he plays violin, drums, produces electronic music and raps. He lives in Portland, Maine.
We did a recent Instagram Live with Moses in our new “Scholarship Talk” series, where we have conversations about helping students find free money for college. Listen to the full audio below and visit him on social media @moses_small and @the_scholarship_king
