You never know where life, or college experience may take you. For Lane College graduate Kinna Thomas, her previous position as a Walmart corporate buyer, led her into a chance meeting with the legendary singer Patti Labelle. This meeting eventually led to the creation of the sweet potato pie that was the talk of the internet upon its initial release in 2015, the “Patti Pies.”
