Jade Cargill Makes History as New WWE Women’s World Champion and Proud Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

WWE has a new Women’s World Champion, and she’s making history on multiple fronts.

Jade Cargill, a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, captured the WWE Women’s World Championship at the Saturday Night Main Event pay-per-view, defeating former titleholder Tiffany Stratton in a hard-fought match.

With her victory, Cargill not only cements herself as one of the most dominant women in professional wrestling today but also becomes the first woman of Jamaican descent to hold a WWE championship title.

Cargill’s rise to the top is marked by her confidence, athleticism, and commitment to representation, both in and outside the ring. Beyond her accomplishments as a professional wrestler, she continues to honor her Greek-letter heritage proudly.

As a member of the Omicron Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at Jacksonville University, Cargill has long incorporated her sorority pride into her career. From her signature ring gear to her show-stopping entrances, she has made it a point to showcase the importance of her sisterhood embodied by AKA.

During her tenure in AEW, Cargill famously made an entrance at the “Double or Nothing” surrounded by her sorority sisters, a moment that not only highlighted her success but also shone a spotlight on the influence of Black Greek life in popular culture. She has since continued that tradition in WWE, bringing the spirit of sisterhood to the global stage.

As part of the D9. Her championship win is not just another accolade in her already stellar career; it’s a reminder that representation matters, and barriers are made to be broken.
