There’s nothing like an HBCU Homecoming. From the atmosphere of the big game to the tradition of the tailgate, and of course, the reunion of alumni on their beloved campuses, Homecoming season is a celebration like no other.
For many students, the highlight comes when the lights dim, the stage comes together, and the much-anticipated Homecoming concerts begin. Each year, these concerts bring some of the hottest names in music to HBCU campuses, and this year’s announcements prove that tradition is alive and thriving.
At Spelman and Morehouse, the stage will be set for an unforgettable night with PARTYNEXTDOOR, G Herbo, and Bunna B leading the lineup. Florida A&M is keeping the energy high with a powerhouse roster that includes PARTYNEXTDOOR, Latto, Bossman DLO, G Herbo, and Boosie.
North Carolina A&T, famous for hosting GHOE, some of the biggest homecoming events in the country, will feature Glorilla, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Queen Naija, Big Boogie, and Fridayy, ensuring Aggie pride runs strong all weekend long.
Hampton University is tapping into a mix of rising stars and fan favorites with VickeeLo, Skilla Baby, Cash Cobain, K CAMP, and Zeddy Will. Meanwhile, Virginia State University is bringing the heat with a lineup featuring Sexyy Red, G Herbo, and Lola Brooke, promising a night full of HBCU anthems.
Albany State homecoming concert series ‘Ram Fest’ will feature Crime Mob, Young Dro, and Raq Baby with Jaquees in the building for the student-only concert.
Alabama State homecoming will feature Gucci Mane, Trina, and rapper Hunxho.
While not every HBCU has announced its full lineup yet, one thing is clear: the music wave this year is crossing campuses, with several artists like PARTYNEXTDOOR and G Herbo making multiple stops. Whether it’s Atlanta, Tallahassee, Greensboro, Hampton, or Petersburg, students
